Pacman starts getting fit for fight vs. Bradley

Manny Pacquiao hasn’t officially started training for his fight against Timothy Bradley Jr. on Apr 9, but he’s already doing things to start getting fit.

“Aside from lifting weights the past couple of weeks, the 37-year-old Pacquiao has been playing basketball and gone scuba diving,” reports Abac Cordero in The Philippine Star.

“I will start my training here in the Philippines although I have already been working on my strength and conditioning,” said Pacquiao explained.

The report noted: “Pacquiao said he will soon open up his training in the Philippines in the first week of February before moving on to Los Angeles just weeks before his April 9 rubber match with Bradley at the MGM Grand. There’s no word yet when Freddie Roach is flying in.”

On top of all this, Pacquiao is also busy with his senatorial campaign.

Pacquiao will attend two press conferences in the US this month to drum up his third fight with Bradley. There’s one on Jan 19 at the posh Beverly Hills Hotel on Sunset Boulevard in California and another one on Jan 21 at the Madison Square Garden in New York.
