Pacman set to play in PBA pre-season game next month

Pinoy boxing icon Manny Pacquiao is in the thick of his preparation for his fight with Chris Algieri on November 23 in Macau.

But that’s not holding him back from being a basketball player.

“Pacquiao will see action in the Kia Motors-Blackwater preseason match-up on October 4 and in the keenly awaited duel between the two new PBA teams right in the opener of PBA Season 40 on October 19, which will most possibly be held at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan,” reports Nelson Beltran onPhilstar.com

Kia Motors’ Eric Pineda said, “Manny has confirmed to the commissioner (PBA commissioner Chito Salud) he’s playing against Blackwater. After the fight (with Algieri in Macau on Nov. 23), Manny will rest for two weeks and he’ll play more games with his Kia Sorento team.”
