Say what you will about Manny Pacquiao, but he sure has considerable star power.
“Manny Pacquiao was overwhelmed with the reception he received Sunday in Hong Kong, where he is currently promoting his November 23 fight with American Chris Algieri,” reports Dino Maragay on Philstar.com.
Pacquiao reportedly spent a few minutes at Statue Square, greeting fans and posing for photos with them.
“I didn’t expect this kind of reception. I was overwhelmed. I didn’t expect to see so many Filipinos in the streets. They were screaming. It was quite an experience,” he told Unus Alladin of South China Morning Post.
