So, does this mean he doesn’t need a special tax exemption?
“Manny Pacquiao revealed that he is hoping to buy a mansion that was once owned by international superstar Jennifer Lopez in Beverly Hills, California,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The report noted: “Pacquiao, who is in the US to train for his upcoming May 2 bout against American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., told ANC on Tuesday, March 10, that he has gone house-hunting.”
Pacquiao said in Filipino: “I made an offer [on JLo’s former home]. The house is really beautiful. It’s located in a gated community, so there’s privacy.”
The report went on to say that while Pacquiao refused to divulge the amount of his offer, reports say that the house costs around US$12 million or over PHP500 million.
Pacquiao clarified that nothing is final yet, as he’s still in the process of negotiation. He did say that one of the house’s features that he liked is the saltwater swimming pool.
