Pacman makes it to Sport Illustrated’s ‘Fittest 50’ list

The fun never stops for Manny Pacquiao.

“Pacquiao has been included in Sport Illustrated’s list of 50 fittest athletes in the world,” reports Dino Maragay on Philstar.com.

Sports Illustrated published the list to stress the importance of fitness for professional athletes, whom they assessed using a 40-point rating system based on four factors: strength, speed, endurance, and agility.

Pacquiao was ranked 39th, registering scores of 6.5 for speed, 5 for strength, 6.5 for agility and 6 for endurance for a total rating of 24.

Pacman’s nemesis Floyd Mayweather Jr., was ranked fourth with with a total rating of 36.

Other athletes who made the list include NBA stars Dwight Howard (36), Ray Allen (30), Blake Griffin (14), and Serge Ibaka (7).

Swimmer Ryan Lochte is ranked 47th, while mixed martial arts standout George St. Pierre is ranked 25th.

NBA star LeBron James topped the list with an overall rating of 40.
