Pacman: Binay is destined to be our next President

So, Pacman has spoken.

“Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao gave a rousing speech during the proclamation rally of Vice President Jejomar Binay on Tuesday, February 9, saying Binay is destined to be the country’s president,” reports Marc Jayson Cayabyab on Inquirer.net.

Pacquiao gave his speech before the crowd, which was made up mostly of the residents of Welfareville Compound in Mandaluyong.

Pacquiao, who is running for senator under the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA), said that “only Binay can uplift the country from poverty because the latter also knows the experience of being poor.”

Pacquiao said, “Ang ating mahal na presidente Binay, dumaan din sa hirap. Kaya ako nagte-testify sa inyo ngayon na kahit anong sigaw ng mga mahihirap, nararamdaman ng mahal na presidente natin yan (Our beloved President Binay went through being poor as well. That is why I am testifying before you now that whatever problems the poor have, he feels it, too).”

He added, “Kaya excited na excited ako para sa darating na presidente. Hindi na kayo magdadalawang isip pa; he’s destined to become the president, and our next president, Jejomar Binay (That’s why I am excited about our next President. You won’t think twice; he’s destined to become the president, and our next president, Jejomar Binay)!”
