Authorities busted a drug dealer on Wednesday morning when agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized P75 million worth of meth, locally known as shabu, from a dealer. The suspect was identified as Antonio Uy, who was accosted along Roxas Boulevard, Oct 23.
The PDEA said the suspect has been under the agency’s surveillance for one month. During Wednesday’s sting, agents arranged a transaction with Uy and they agreed to a handoff at Roxas Boulevard. Apparently sensing he was transacting with authorities, Uy made a run from it before the deal was pulled off. PDEA engaged him in a chase, and was later cornered at Rajah Sulayman park.
