“Brazen” doesn’t even begin to describe this crime.
“Maria Luz Lastimoso, 30—owner of the Lady Boss KTV located at the corner of F. Blumentritt and Manalo Streets in Barangay Batis, San Juan City—was shot dead by a lone assassin sometime past 3am on Wednesday morning, September 24,” reports Non Alquitran in The Philippine Star.
A witness said that the gunman bought a stick of cigarette prior to the attack. He then entered the KTV bar and shot the victim at close range. After that, he escaped by getting on a waiting gray car, which then sped toward N. Domingo Street.
Lastimoso died while being treated at the San Juan City Medical Center just four hours after the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
