“The famous Our Lady of Fatima image from Portugal is set to arrive in the country on February 19 and will be brought to key locations across the Philippines,” reports Christina I. Hermoso in Manila Bulletin.
The report noted: “Created on May 13, 1947 due to widespread demand for its presence in towns and villages in Portugal, the International Pilgrim Virgin Statue (IPVS) of Our Lady of Fatima has visited several countries. It is believed to have bestowed miracles, favors, and graces to countless of Marian devotees during its visits.”
The Our Lady of Fatima image will make its first stop at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Guidance in Ermita, Manila upon its arrival on Feb 19.
Devotees will have a chance to visit the pilgrim image at the following venues:
