Giveaways are one way to personalize your wedding, and this couple decided to go all out in their wedding favors by giving away an item that, in the Philippines at least, comes close to the luxury status of onions.
A newlywed couple decided to give away gold bars at their wedding, to their guests’ amusement.
Aerial Estacio at Emerson Tolentino surprised those near and dear to them when they unveiled the lavish gifts during their wedding in Tagaytay City on Feb. 19.
Wedding coordinator Aldrik Gohel of Moments by Ruffa captured the couple’s unique favors and posted photos online.
Gohel said that the couple runs a jewelry business and thought of the lavish giveaway for their guests.
The newlyweds reportedly gave out 100 gold bars to guests and 20 gold bars to online clients.
Each bar was 4 inches long and cost PHP15,000 (US$272) each.
