OMG, who’s behind these Princess Sarah memes?

Of course you remember Princess Sarah, right? She’s like Cinderella—rich girl with a golden heart whose dad dies—with so much potatoes in the narrative!

The Tagalog version of the cartoon, which ran on ABS-CBN in the early 90s was like the Side B to AngTV’s Side A; it was the lesser known after-school TV delight. But no matter, it was soon made into a movie starring Camille Pratts and Angelica Panganiban.

Enough of the verbose throwback because, look, here something better. Princess Sarah comes back stronger than ever in the form of…memes.

Unlike the flash-in-the-pan sensation Titas of Manila, the Princess Sarah memes took to the backdoor, getting most of its shares on private messaging like Whatsapp and Viber.

Our feeds aren’t flooded yet, but like a testament to its cult following, Princess Sarah memes are slowly trickling in, like ambon to an upcoming thunderstorm. Created on Sep 20, the Facebook page now has over 18,000 followers.

We decided to take a look and trololol, what a treasure trove of funny.
