The office of the ombudsman is certainly keeping busy.

Perhaps, serving that suspension order was just training.

Because here is The Office of the Ombudsman again, not suspending but dismissing an equally controversial public servant plus eight others.

“The office of the ombudsman has dismissed from service resigned police chief Alan Purisima for his alleged involvement in a P100-million shady deal with a private courier service company,” reports Marc Jayson Cayabyab on Inquirer.net.

Apart from Purisima, Police Chief Supt. Raul Petrasanta was also dismissed from service. He was an office of the Philippin National Police Firearms and Explosives Office.

You may ask so what, about these dismissals? Purisima, especially had already resigned. Well, this means they can’t get any more retirement benefits and are barred from being hired by the government ever again. Ever!
