OFW’s home gets robbed while she’s in church

Sometimes the universe really tests your faith.

“A female overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who had just returned to the country lost about PHP1 million worth of jewelry and valuables after her house in Sampaloc, Manila, was robbed,” reports Journal Online.

The victim, who asked that her name not be published, had just stepped out to hear Mass with some friends when the unfortunate incident happened.

According to her, she saw that the locks on her door already destroyed upon returning home. However, she noted that the house was not in shambles. It seemed that the suspect or suspects went straight to the cabinet where she hid her bag.

The bag had contained assorted pieces of jewelry, branded watches, a laptop, a camera, and a cellphone.

The investigation is ongoing.
