He started from the Laoag-Piddig route, now he’s here!
Filipino migrant Candido Hipolito’s loud and colorful jeepney is making heads turn in Barangay 6, Piddig in Ilocos Norte.
In typical jeepney fasion, Hipolito’s 21-seater ride is decorated with characters and stickers. It also bears the name of her fourth child in front.
Ah, but this is not your typical jeepney — after all, it reportedly cost a million pesos to make.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News, it is equipped with a CCTV camera, WiFi, aircon, flat-screen TV, and a karaoke.

“The bumper, back door, and skirt of the jeepney are also movable and hydraulically operated,” said the report.
Unfortunately, the jeepney is not availabe for public use. Hipolito and his family only use it during their trips home.
The jeepney was assembled in Bulacan. Hipolito described it as his dream come true.
“Dati kasi nagdra-drive ako ng Laoag-Piddig. Inambisyon ko rin na balang araw, magkakaroon din ako ng kakaibang sasakyan,” Hipolito said.
(‘I used to ride the Laoag-Piddig route. Back in the day, my ambition was to drive a unique vehicle.’)
