Commission on Elections says it will no longer allow relatives of national and local officials from running in the upcoming Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections.
Comelec chairman Andres Bautista says aspirants must declare under oath that they are not related, within second degree of consanguinity or affinity, to any incumbent, elected national or local official in the locality where he or she seeks to be elected.
Filing of COC’s for Baranggay and SK polls will be from Oct 3 to Oct 5, 2016.
