Her memoir will be very interesting.

“Spain’s alta sociedad is said to be reeling over reports that Spain-based Filipino socialite Isabel Preysler has stolen the heart of revered Peruvian writer and Nobel Prize winner Mario Vargas Llosa, who remains very much married,” reports Cathy Cañares-Yamsuan in Philippine Daily Inquirer.

According to the online site of El Mundo, one of Spain’s major newspapers, Vargas Llosa was gallant enough to admit to his wife, Patricia, his feelings for Preysler. Reports say that he has started divorce proceedings though.

Preysler was married to singer Julio Iglesias, with whom she has three kids: Chabeli, Julio Jr. and the international singer and heartthrob Enrique Iglesias. When her marriage to Iglesias ended, she married Carlos Falco, aka Marques de Griñon. They have a daughter named Tamara. They also divorced and Preysler went on to marry Miguel Boyer, a former finance minister of Spain. They have a daughter named Ana.

Boyer died on Sep 29, 2014. Vargas Llosa had been a friend of both Boyer and Preysler.

The report noted: “Preysler and Vargas Llosa allegedly hooked up around April 2015, when the writer began traveling to Spain.”
