The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has lowered the Public Storm Warning Signal over Metro Manila and parts of Luzon, although the provinces of Pangasinan and Zambales are still under Signal No. 1.
According to a 5:00 p.m. update from Pagasa, Tropical Storm Gorio is now 230 kilometers west of Dagupan City in Pangasinan moving northwest at 75 kilometers per hour.
The storm, which has maximum winds of 75 kph and gustiness of up to 90 kph, is expected to affect Pangasinan and Zambales. Residents are advise dto look out for flashfloods and landslides as well as big waves.
“Gorio” should be out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Monday morning.
