The Bureau of Immigration (BI) is pushing for a cleaner image. It recently received passing marks from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) proving the lack of red tape and exhibiting efficient service in the government agency.
BI Commissioner Ricardo David Jr. reported that the BI headquarters in Manila garnered a final score of 87.54 percent from the CSC as well as descriptive rating of “good.” According to the Philippine Star, the CSC evaluated BI’s frontline services delivery, service quality, physical working condition, and overall client satisfaction. The Bureau of Immigration received a 90.14 percent rating for complying with the ” anti-red tape act”. At the same time, the agency got 85.58 percent for overall client satisfaction.
