No to 5th fight vs. Pacman, says Marquez’s trainer

It’s time to move on.

“Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Marquez’s trainer Nacho Beristain vowed to oppose a fifth fight against Manny Pacquiao,” reports Salvador Rodriguez on Boxingscene.com.

Beristain was quoted as saying, “I do not care who is angry, but I will do everything possible to prevent Juan Manuel Marquez from stepping in the ring with Pacquiao for a fifth time.”

Pacquiao and Marquez have already fought four times, but only their December 2012 smackdown had a conclusive result after Marquez knocked out Pacquiao in the sixth round.

Pacquiao and Marquez first faced off in the ring 2004, a match that had ended in a draw. Then, Pacquiao won in their 2008 and 2011 bouts. Marquez bested him in 2012.
