No, this isn’t a joke.
“According to project implementor Manila North Tollways Corporation (MNTC), once the Harbor Link and Connector Road are completed in 2016, traveling from the North Luzon Expressway to South Luzon Expressway (NLEX-SLEX) and vice versa will only take 20 minutes,” reports Carlo Suerte Felipe in the Manila Bulletin.
On Monday, Jan 20, the Metro Pacific Tollways Development Corporation and the Philippine National Construction Corporation signed a joint venture agreement to start the Connector Road or Segment 10.2 of the NLEX Metro Expressway Link Project.
Segment 10.2 is composed of 8 kilometers long the mainline road which starts from C3 Road in Caloocan City leading to PUP Sta. Mesa, Manila.
According to MNTC President Rodrigo Franco, the project costs PHP30 billion.
