We have to commend the website WikiPilipinas for their initiative to help the electorate make a more sound choice when voting for the country’s leaders.
The country’s online encyclopedia will launch on March 4 its first voters’ awareness campaign. Called #KnowYourCandidate, it will feature the profiles of different senatorial candidates, highlighting their track record plus their campaign platforms. WikiPilipinas is hoping that through these profiles, they can help voters choose candidates based on their accomplishments and track record, not just because of name recall or popularity, according to Inquirer.
