The body of a 38-year-old Korean national was found inside the water tank of a high-rise in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City on Friday night.
Southern Police District (SPD) Director Chief Superintendent Jose Erwin Villacorte said the body of Kim Ji Hun was found by maintenance personnel, led by Rogelio Mercado. His remains were identified by his partner Normilita Taguin.
He was reported missing on Thursday and police said Kim’s room was in disarray when they came to investigate. According to the Philippine Star, police have yet to determine if foul play was involved in the case.
“We are still investigating how the victim got into the water depository tank,” Senior Superintendent Andrei Felix, Parañaque police chief said.
