Here’s a bit of respite from inflation.
For a few days now, prices of fish in the wet markets have continued to go down. Fishmongers attribute this to the relatively warm weather we’ve been experiencing.
According to a GMA News report on Thursday, prices of bangus or milk fish went down to P100 from P130 per kilo; tilapia was sold at P90 per kilo; and galunggong was at P120 per kilo.On the other hand, Tulingan was sold at P120 per kilo; and sapsap at P140 per kilo. Alumahan was at P140 per kilo.
Local weather experts explained that the warm weather was brought about by warm winds from the east as well as the weakening of the northeast monsoon.
