Claire Jennifer Rodel, a 21-year old University of Sto. Tomas (UST) student taking up Physical Therapy was found dead in her bedroom in Quezon City Monday morning.
She was rushed to the National Kidney Transplant Institute (NKTI) but was pronounced dead on arrival.
She was found by her younger sister amid blood on her bed, and a kitchen knife beside her.
Police investigators learned that the parents had allegedly scolded the girl over her slumping grades and her boyfriend, the Journal reported.
