Two LARGE snakes found in LRT depot

Wow. Last Thursday, two snakes were found in the train depot of the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) in Pasay City. According to abs-cbnnews.com, clearing activity may have disturbed the snakes, causing them to surface. It was LRTA tracks maintenance officer Ricky Tubongbanua who saw the snakes while he was clearing a grassy area in the depot.

The LRTA, however, assure that the LRT trains are safe, especially after they turned over the two snakes to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau in Quezon City.

So… will you ride the LRT again?
