Trader Eddie Boy Damayo died on the spot of gun shot wounds in Taguig City on Monday, while Jay Neri, his companion was sustained gun shot wounds in the body.
Neri was brought to the Jose Reyes Memorial Hospital in Manila.
The victims were shot along a creek at the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) compound at New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City around 1:30 a.m. Monday. The pair were shot while they were drinking.
The Journal reports that investigators have yet to establish any motive or find leads on the suspects.
