With political campaigns in full blast, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) has released public service videos to guide candidates on the dos and don’ts of the campaign period.
The videos feature the characters “Tina Tama” and “Boy Bawal” who explain how and where candidates can put up their campaign posters and how to conduct their campaigns.
Among the tips that Tina Tama gives is for candidates to be creative and to look for ways to campaign that won’t violate Comelec rules.

According to Comelec chairman Sixto Brillantes, the poll body is expecting more cases of election regulation violations since the campaign for local candidates has begun.
The Comelec also reminded candidates that violators will be punished accordingly, the Philippine Star reported.
