A 17-year-old single mom seemed to have lost all hope and ended her life on Monday night.
The incident took place at around 6:30 p.m. in Sta. Cruz, Manila. The suicide shot herself in the head after having dinner with family members.
Her brother told police investigators that the girl had been worried about how to raise her one-year-old child after her boyfriend had abandoned them.
The teenager was brought to a nearby hospital but she had already succumbed to a single gunshot wound at the right temple, the Journal reported.
