Tablets are more popular than PCs, according to a survey conducted by Canalys. In fact, one-third of computers sold all over the world in the fourth quarter of 2012 was a tablet.
As a whole (PCs and tablets combined), the market grew 11 percent.
Leading the market is Apple, with 27 million units (20 percent market share).
Here are the other brands that make up the top 5:
Hewlett-Packard – 15 million units
Lenovo – 14.8 million units
Samsung – 11.7 million units
Dell – 9.7 million units
The report also said that tablet sales were up by 75 percent, according to Inquirer.
