How much is a human life worth these days?
A hardworking cabbie died of stab wounds on Tuesday after he was robbed by his passenger in Malate, Manila.
Police identified the deceased as Jose Sunga Bautista, who drives a Kim Darwin taxi with plate number UVZ 220.
His passenger allegedly boarded the taxi and asked to be taken to Jose Reyes street at the corner of Qurino Avenue. Once there, the cabbie was held up and stabbed for a measly P2,000.
Concerned bystanders brought him to the Ospital ng Maynila, but he was already dead, ABS CBN News reported.
