Operators of the Skyway System, South Luzon Expressway and Star Tollway are bracing themselves for the exodus of motorists and commuters to the South this coming Holy Week.
The 2013 Lakbay Alalay Holy Week Motorist Assistance Program has been launched to offer round-the-clock roadside assistance, emergency services, additional traffic and maintenance personnel,free towing services (for class 1 vehicles only) and first aid services for faster, safer and more comfortable travel.
Lakbay Alalay volunteers will also be manning pit stops along the tollways from 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, until Monday, April 1.
They have also set up the SLEx hotline 1348 for assistance, Inquirer News reported.
