Security guard arrested for hazing 17 kids

Eduardo Hermosa, a 35-year-old security guard is under arrest for allegedly subjecting 17 minors, aged 11 to 15, to hazing, including burning their arms with cigarettes.

According to a DZMM report, the kids said the cigarette burns were part of their initiation. Female initiates were slapped instead, they said. A picture posted on Facebook also showed the suspect pointing a .38-caliber handgun at one of the kids, the report said.

The suspect, a member of the Commando Gang and who has a prior conviction for robbery, faces charges of child abuse and hazing. Hermosa admitted he gave the kids cigarette burns but said he only did it because the kids convinced him to form the gang.

The name of their gang, according to the report: “No Hitters, True Lovers.”
