The primary suspect in the killing of seven-year old Stephanie Nicole Ell was exonerated. Ballistics tests on the gun of Juan Agos did not match the bullet which killed Ella. However, Agos would still be charged with illegal discharge of firearm for breaking the New Year gun ban.
Ella was killed last New Year’s eve while she was outside of her home in Brgy. Tala, Malaria, Caloocan City. Recovered from her body was a .45 cal. bullet.
According to Interaksyon.com, the stray bullet was believed to have been fired close to the Ella residence. Police authorities are still trying to find the gun and the killer.
