San Juan police to file charges against businessman’s killer

San Juan police is set to file charges against six suspects for their alleged involvement in the killing of Chinese businessman Kelvin Tan in San Juan City on Jan. 28.

Sr. Supt. Bernardo Tambaoan, said Reggie Guadayo and five John Does will be charged before the city prosecutor’s office.

Police said there were five other men besides Guadayo: the gunman, the driver of the getaway vehicle, and three lookouts who were all seen from a closed-circuit television camera.

Tan, 34, was shot dead inside his vehicle near the Chinatrust Bank branch at the corner of Ortigas Avenue after withdrawing P800,000, Inquirer News reported.
