Quezon City Public Library staff take art lessons

Staff at the Quezon City Public Library have undergone training to develop “new techniques and styles for the promotion of reading materials and information.”

According to the Quezon City government website, library staff held “a seminar-workshop…to develop eye catching displays, scrapbook making and letter cutting abilities.”

The training is expected to lead to displays that will entice more readers to check out the QC Public Library’s collection. Around 120,000 readers, many of whom are students, come to the QC Public Library every day. The library has a collection of 65,134 books and reading materials.
