Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency operatives recovered around 50 grams of shabu (methamphetamine) in a sting operation in Cubao, Quezon City, the agency said.
According to PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac Jr., Cherrilyn Feliciano was caught in an entrapment operation in a “popular fast food chain” in Araneta Center, Cubao on Tuesday. Aside from the plastic bag of shabu, PDEA also confiscated two mobile phones from Feliciano.
Feliciano is currently being held at the PDEA custodial facility in Quezon City and faces a charge of Sale of Dangerous Drugs. If the case goes to court and she is found guilty, Feliciano faces a life sentence and a fine of from P500,000 to P10 million under the Dangerous Drugs Act.
