QC Elliptical drainage upgrade set to start

Expect monstrous traffic jams going to and from the QC elliptical area in the next few weeks as the Quezon City Engineering Department (QCED) commences drainage improvement work.

Joselito Cabungcal, Chief of the QCED, appealed to the public to bear with the temporary inconvenience.

According to the Manila Bulletin, the start of the PHP21-million drainage improvement work is tentatively set for the third week of April.

Besides dealing with traffic, officials noted that workers will have to avoid hitting the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) underground lines during actual construction.
