Makati Police have declared the suicide of Citimotors VP for Finance Cesar Jenato a closed case after the latter’s family declined to have the case investigated further.
According to reports, the 70-year-old Genato jumped from the balcony of his 10th floor unit at Le Triomphe condominium along H.V. Dela Costa Street in Salcedo Village on Thursday morning.
Police have recovered a handwritten suicide note from the deceased. Its only contents was a request that he be cremated immediately.
Family members and Genato’s personal driver recount that the Citimotors executive was having personal problems lately.
