Authorities have started collecting guns and testing them in connection with the slaying of 7-year old Stephanie Nicole Ella. The young girl was hit by a stray .50 cal. bullet on New Year’s Eve and died the next afternoon at the East Avenue Medical Center.
So far, 37 .45 cal. pistols have been voluntarily surrendered to the police for testing. These were collected based on a list of gun owners living within the area of the Ella residence, Inquirer News reported.
