Quezon City policemen responded to a snatching incident around midnight and were able to corner and shoot dead one of two motorcycle riding robbers along Sgt. Esguerra in Quezon Avnue, Quezon City.
The two were said to have snatched the bag of a woman who was waiting in front of a grocery store. Responding policemen gave chase and managed to corner one of the suspects. Another one is still at large.
According to ABS CBN News, police will be beefing up security in the area to prevent muggings and other criminal activities.
