Election season is fast approaching, and we all know what that means: violence. While political candidates promise us a free and peaceful elections, squabbles between supporters and protesters are a common thing.
To prepare for this, the National Police will be fielding new recruits to beef up the ranks. According to Tempo, 587 police recruits from the five police districts in Metro Manila have just finished a three-day seminar on laws and jurisprudence to better equip them in handling possible cases of election violence or riots.
