Be careful when you ride the bus because pickpockets have been victimizing bus riders.
Last Saturday, a customer service representative lost her mobile phone at E. Rodriguez Street Jr. in Cubao, Quezon City at around 10:30 p.m., according to Inquirer. She was about to hop on a bus when one man blocked her while two men sandwiched her. Next thing she knew, her cell phone was gone.
In a separate incident, a Sri Lankan national lost his black leather wallet – containing ID cards, his driver’s license, credit and ATM cards, keys and P5,000 – while riding a bus from SM Megamall in Mandaluyong to Ayala Avenue.
