Fire officials have their work cut out for them this coming month. It’s not even Fire Prevention Month yet and local firefighters have ben busy fighting one fire after another all over the metropolis.
The latest fire struck a residential compound in Muntinlupa City on Saturday night. At least 50 houses were burned down and 100 families were rendered homeless. The fire started at 11 p.m. and was put out at 1:44 a.m.
Damage to property was estimated at P500,000, GMA News reported.
