Pasig city bomb scare disrupts classes

A Pasig City high school suspended classes after text messages from an unidentified sender informed a student and a resident of a bomb in the premises.

Pasig police chief Sr. Supt. Mario Rarisa Jr. said that teams from the Explosives and Ordinance Division (EOD) and Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) responded to Santolan High School early in the morning.

The police, together with K-9 dogs, inspected the school but were not able to find any bomb.

According to the Journal, OIC Principal of the Santolan High School, Lorna Rodriguez, suspended classes due to the bomb scare.
