Palace warns: Don’t fall for scams

With all the scams around – and the many victims falling for them, the Palace wants to remind the public to be more suspicious of offers and deals so they don’t get scammed.

According to presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda, you should think twice if offers are too good to be true or if investments have interest rates that are way above those that banks offer.

He also suggested for victims to help authorities by giving them information about their experiences.

According to abs-cbnnews.com, they are looking into Aman Futures and the so-called Rasuman scam. “We are investigating all this, and we will ensure, at the very least, that we will make this a public information on scams. If it’s too good to be true, then it’s something that should be viewed with caution,” Lacierda said.
