P50M worth of shabu found in American’s possessions; Pajero linked to Mikey Arroyo staff

An American tourist who has been coming in and out of the country for the past four years was arrested after being caught in possession of P50 million pesos worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride, more commonly known as shabu.

More drugs in the form of valium and cocaine, and drug-related paraphernalia were also recovered in his vehicle when police came to arrest him and search his condominium unit at The Columns in Makati.

Police reported that they had previously received information that Brian Hill, 32, has been dealing drugs at parties of influential personalities, prompting them to make an investigation and to obtain a search warrant from Quezon City Judge Fernando Sagun.

According to recent developments, the Pajero from which the police found the confiscated drugs has turned out to be the property of the National Power Corporation (NPC) which has been on loan to a staff member of former Pampanga Rep. Mikey Arroyo for the past four years.

The NPC has stated that they had been repeatedly trying to retrieve the said vehicle from Arroyo’s office since 2010, but has been unsuccessful in its pursuit. It has filed an official complaint with the Highway Patrol Group of the Philippine National Police in order to obtain a hold order, or to recall the vehicle, ABS CBN News reported.
