New lotto millionaire will look for his children

A 48-year-old taxi driver from Novaliches, Quezon City was the lucky winner of the P40.6-million 6/42 lotto jackpot prize last Dec. 20.

The man came in to the office of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Friday to claim his winnings. Inquirer News said the taxi driver  has eight children, sired from four different mothers. He admitted that he used a combination of their birth dates to come up with the winning numbers: 01-12-18-37-40-42.

Now that he has the money, the driver said he will look for his children and settle his obligations to them.
