A Japanese tourist lost his bag to motorcycle-riding robbers in Malate, Manila as he was casually strolling the street on Friday.
Itaru Ishikawa, 73, currently billeted at room 624 of Eurotel at Pedro Gil Street, Malate, filed a formal complaint at the Manila Police. He was assisted by his tour guide and interpreter, Danilo de Guzman.
The Japanese national said the robbers wore jackets and helmets and snatched his bag at around 8 p.m.
Ishikawa said his bag contained P15,000 cash, a digital camera and important documents, the Journal reported.
