MMDA’s earthquake simulator to do campus tour

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will be taking its “Shake, Rattle, Learn” house – an earthquake simulator, around various school campuses in the metropolis and in nearby provinces to give students a chance to experience magnitude 4 to 8 earthquakes.

The simulator mimics a small bungalow house with a living room and the other half, a classroom, which is built on a hydraulic motion platform.

The MMDA is trying to teach young students about earthquakes and what they should do in case one occurs, The Philippine Star reported.
