MMDA thief caught, no documents stolen

Makati police chief Senior Superintendent Manuel Lukban reports that the man who broke into the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) office was only after stealing for profit.

Hilbert Mongkano burglarized the MMDA offices by entering through an zircon duct which happens toopen to an office adjacent to MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino’s office.

According to Lukban, the stolen items were in two bags recovered from Mongkano. There were no documents among the stolen items, the Philippine Star reported.
